Buy the Anki client for the nintendo ds

The latest Anki.nds release is version 2.8c
.anki deck support (produced by anki desktop 1.2.7+)

On this page, you can buy some japanese related software that I developed in my spare time.

Basically, you pay me a small amount of money through paypal (it's the only way for now) and you can then download the software and all it's updates/bug fixes for an fixed amount of time (2 months for 2€ and 1 year for 5€).

For example, if you pay 2€ to buy 2 months worth of download rights for Anki.nds, you get links to download the software and, if updates, bug fixes or new builds with new features are released in the following 2 months, you can download them too (using the form below). For 5€, you get the same except that the period where you can download updates is extended to a whole year.

Support and downloads

The plugins should only be used with Anki desktop 1.0 along with the .srs deck support (this is the obsolete way to review). If you are using the brand new support for .anki decks (this is the new recommended way), you should use decks openend and saved by anki desktop 1.2.7+ and disable the plugins.

The following form is for the people who have already bought download rights for the Anki Client for the nintendo ds and who want to download the updates to the software they bought.

In the following form, you need to put the email address of the paypal account that you used to buy the software.

Anki.nds can play mp3/ogg files but due to the limited harware specs (ARM 9 at 66Mhz) you may hear artifacts for high bitrates.

[3]

Anki.nds can play background music while you are reviewing, it will slow things quite a bit though. It might be best to use vorbis/ogg files for background music, with reasonnable bitrates.

[4]

Anki.nds can use .anki deck (you might have to upgrade your deck by opening and saving it with anki desktop 1.2.7+) and allow you to review as a standalone application (you don't need to sync anymore).
